Jon D. Peterson

Jon is the Founder and Registered Principal of Next Level Financial on Bainbridge Island, WA. Our practice provides financial consulting to professional athletes in the NFL, NHL, NBA, and MLB.

Prior to starting Next Level Financial, Jon worked in the Private Client Group at Merrill Lynch where he served as Assistant Vice President and the manager of the Professional Development Program. He was responsible for the financial planning needs and coordination of services for a high net-worth client base of $800 million. Jon has also worked as a Vice President with Bank of America's Private Banking & Trust Department managing $10 million minimum portfolios.

Jon holds the Series 24, 7, and 63 registrations, as well as his license for Life, Disability, and Annuity. He has also been advancing himself professionally by attending the American College of Trust & Estate Planning and Stanford University's Financial Planning for Managers.

Jon has been a guest on national television shows including CNBC's Morning Call and ESPN's Cold Pizza and has been quoted and featured in publications including Financial Planning Magazine, ESPN-the Magazine, and Kiplinger's Personal Financial Magazine.

Jon, an avid fisherman, loves spending his free time with his wife Susan and children Zach and Camille.
